Ellie Highstreet is the owner of Raise. Run., a South Dakota based political and public affairs consulting firm specializing in campaign strategy, public engagement, bond and ballot initiatives, community education, and strategic communications.

With more than 20 years of experience, Highstreet has worked on more than 250 campaigns and advised communities and organizations on more than $550 million in bond, capital, and tax-related projects. Her work is particularly focused on helping translate complex public projects into clear, understandable messages that explain the “why” behind an investment and help residents understand how a proposed project will impact their community.

In 2018, Ellie managed the $190 million bond campaign to build new schools in the Sioux Falls School District. The bond is the largest in South Dakoat state history, winning with an unprecedented 85% of the vote. She also worked on the campaign to build the $15 million Yankton Aquatics Facility. The Aquatics Facility issue passed with 66% of the vote.
